Online timing: Singapore time vs IST
Singapore Standard Time (UTC+8) is 2.5 hours ahead of India Standard Time (UTC+5:30), and neither country observes daylight saving, so the gap is constant all year. A live online day on the program's 9:00 AM–6:00 PM India schedule runs from 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM in Singapore. Some participants like the late-morning start; others find the evening finish hard alongside work. For in-house groups, Bodhih can arrange a dedicated batch timed to Singapore office hours. Read how live sessions work on the online TTT page.
Why Singapore organisations build internal trainers
Singapore is a regional headquarters city, so much of its training happens in one place and is then cascaded across Asia-Pacific — which is precisely what a train-the-trainer model is designed for.
- Banking, insurance and wealth management run steady product, risk and compliance training, often designed in Singapore and rolled out across regional branches.
- Regional headquarters and shared services of multinationals need trainers who can onboard and upskill teams in several countries from one hub.
- Logistics, aviation and the port economy depend on consistent safety, process and customer-service training.
- Technology, biomedical and advanced manufacturing rely on engineers and scientists to teach colleagues — classic subject matter experts who have never been trained to train.
- Public-sector agencies and SMEs invest in workplace learning and need people who can turn expertise into structured sessions.
In many of these organisations the trainer is a senior specialist asked to "run a session for the region". Our guide to what Train the Trainer is explains how one well-trained internal trainer multiplies learning across teams.
A note on Singapore's training schemes
Singapore has a well-developed adult-education system. Trainers who deliver Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) certifiable courses are generally expected to hold a recognised adult-education qualification such as the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP), offered through the Institute for Adult Learning and its partners. The Bodhih Certified Trainer credential is a professional skills credential, not a WSQ qualification, and Bodhih has not confirmed SkillsFuture or other government funding eligibility for this program. If your goal is to deliver WSQ courses, check that scheme's requirements first. If your goal is to become a more effective corporate, technical or regional trainer, the Bodhih program is built for that.
Who attends from Singapore
Typical participants include L&D and HR business partners, regional training managers, bank product and compliance trainers, sales enablement leads, engineers and scientists who teach colleagues, and independent facilitators. There are no formal prerequisites, so first-time trainers and experienced facilitators can attend together. Everyone works on their own content, so you leave with a redesigned module that is ready to deliver in Singapore or across the region.
What the program includes
The Bodhih Certified Train The Trainer (TTT) Program covers adult learning principles (andragogy, Kolb's cycle, Bloom's Taxonomy), instructional design with ADDIE and Training Needs Analysis, advanced facilitation including virtual delivery, and evaluation with Kirkpatrick's four levels. Your Day 1 and Day 4 deliveries are recorded, and the final certification delivery is assessed against Bodhih's Trainer Competency Matrix. You receive a verifiable credential ID, a LinkedIn digital badge and lifetime alumni access. See the full TTT curriculum.
In-house Train the Trainer for Singapore organisations
For a bank, regional HQ, hospital group or technology firm certifying a team, an in-house batch is usually the most efficient route: your venue, your dates, Singapore working hours, and practice on your own modules — product training, onboarding, safety procedures or leadership content. Regional teams from Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines can join the same batch. Bodhih has served 2,000+ companies since 2008 and runs corporate training in Singapore beyond TTT. For a senior cohort that will itself certify other trainers, consider the Master Trainer Certification. See the corporate Train the Trainer page for how in-house programs are scoped.
How to get started
- Pick a format — in-house for a team, online to stay in Singapore, or an India open batch for a mixed classroom.
- Request a quote — email solutions@bodhih.com with your format, preferred dates and number of participants. Fees are quoted in SGD or USD.
- Bring real content — a session you deliver now or need to build.
- Complete the pre-course e-learning, attend all four days and give your final certification delivery.
After the program, a 40-day micro-learning journey, a 1-on-1 coaching session and two quarterly masterclass passes help you apply the skills at work. Other locations are listed on the locations page.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Bodhih Train the Trainer program available in Singapore?
Yes. Singapore is one of the locations where Bodhih has delivered the Bodhih Certified Train The Trainer (TTT) Program. Open batches in Singapore are announced periodically; at any time you can arrange an in-house batch for your organisation, join a live online batch, or travel to an open batch in Mumbai or Bengaluru. Email solutions@bodhih.com for current Singapore availability.
How much does Train the Trainer cost in Singapore?
Fees for Singapore participants are shared on request in SGD or USD, because they depend on the format, location and number of participants. Email solutions@bodhih.com with your preferred format — in-house, online or an India open batch — and your group size, and the team will send a quote in your currency.
Can I use SkillsFuture credit for this program?
Bodhih has not confirmed SkillsFuture eligibility for this program, so please do not assume any Singapore government funding applies. The Bodhih Certified Trainer credential is a professional skills certification issued by Bodhih Training Solutions. Most Singapore participants are sponsored by their employer; Bodhih's Manager Justification Kit helps you make that case internally.
Is this the same as the WSQ ACLP qualification?
No. The WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) is a Singapore adult-education qualification offered through the Institute for Adult Learning and its partners, and it is commonly expected of trainers who deliver WSQ certifiable courses. Bodhih's program is a separate, practice-heavy professional credential. If you plan to deliver WSQ courses, check that scheme's trainer requirements directly.
What time are online sessions in Singapore?
Singapore (UTC+8) is 2.5 hours ahead of India Standard Time. A session running 9:00 AM–6:00 PM IST runs 11:30 AM–8:30 PM in Singapore. That suits some participants but makes for long evenings, so in-house groups can ask for a dedicated batch scheduled to Singapore working hours.
Can our Singapore regional team train together across countries?
Yes. A regional in-house batch can bring together trainers from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, either in one location or as a live online batch timed for South-East Asia. Each participant redesigns a module from their own market, which keeps the practice relevant. Batches are capped at 15 participants.
