You can earn a Train the Trainer certification in Malaysia through Bodhih's 4-day Certified TTT — also called Training of Trainers (TOT) — delivered in-house in Kuala Lumpur or elsewhere in Malaysia, as a live online batch (Malaysia is 2.5 hours ahead of India), or at an India open batch. Fees are in MYR or USD on request. It is a professional credential, not an HRD Corp TTT certification.

Online timing: Malaysia time vs IST
Malaysia Time (UTC+8) is 2.5 hours ahead of India Standard Time, all year round. A live online day running 9:00 AM–6:00 PM IST is 11:30 AM–8:30 PM in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Kota Kinabalu. That works for some participants, but four long evenings in a row are tiring, so in-house groups usually ask for a dedicated batch timed to Malaysian office hours. See how live delivery works on the online TTT page and Bodhih's live virtual TTT workshop.
HRD Corp and the Bodhih credential: what to know
In Malaysia, "TTT" often means something specific. Training that employers want to claim from their HRD Corp levy generally has to be delivered by an HRD Corp Accredited Trainer, and the route to that status runs through HRD Corp's own Train-the-Trainer certification (or an approved TTT exemption) followed by accreditation. That is a separate scheme run by HRD Corp.
The Bodhih Certified Trainer credential is a professional skills certification issued by Bodhih Training Solutions. It is not HRD Corp TTT certification, it is not equivalent to it, and Bodhih makes no claim that this program is HRD Corp claimable. If you intend to run claimable courses, check HRD Corp's current requirements directly.
Why do Malaysian organisations still choose a skills-focused TTT? Because many internal trainers — the engineer explaining a new process, the team lead onboarding new hires, the quality coach in a contact centre — never deliver claimable public courses. They need to design and facilitate better sessions for their own colleagues, and that is what 32+ hours of practice with expert feedback builds.
Who needs trainer skills in Malaysia
- Global business services and shared services in Kuala Lumpur, Cyberjaya and Penang onboard large numbers of finance, HR, IT and customer-service staff serving regional and global markets.
- Electronics and semiconductor manufacturing, concentrated around Penang and Kulim, depends on technicians and engineers who teach process, quality and safety on the floor.
- Banking and Islamic finance run continuous product, Shariah-compliance and customer-experience training.
- Oil, gas, energy and plantations need consistent HSE and operational training across remote sites.
- Tourism, hospitality and retail train frontline service standards across properties and outlets.
Our guide to Training of Trainers (TOT) explains how certifying a few internal trainers lets a standard be cascaded across shifts, sites and countries.
What the program includes
The Bodhih Certified Train The Trainer (TTT) Program moves from adult learning (Knowles' andragogy, Kolb, Bloom's Taxonomy) through instructional design (ADDIE, Training Needs Analysis, experiential activities, storytelling) to advanced facilitation and virtual delivery, then evaluation with Kirkpatrick's four levels. You work on your own content and leave with a redesigned, ready-to-deliver module, a verifiable credential ID and a LinkedIn badge. Details are on the curriculum page.
In-house TTT for Malaysian organisations
An in-house batch is the usual choice for a GBS centre, plant or bank: your venue in Kuala Lumpur, Penang or Johor, your dates, and practice on your own onboarding, SOP or product modules. Trainers from Singapore or Indonesia can join the same regional batch. Faculty are Bodhih master trainers with 10,000+ hours of corporate delivery each, and every participant gets a competency report across 12 trainer skill areas. Read how programs are scoped on the corporate Train the Trainer page.

Frequently asked questions
Can I take the Bodhih Train the Trainer program in Kuala Lumpur?
Yes, through an in-house batch at your organisation in Kuala Lumpur or anywhere in Malaysia, a live online batch, or an open batch in Mumbai or Bengaluru. Bodhih has not announced a public open batch in Malaysia; if one is scheduled it will appear on the batch calendar. Email solutions@bodhih.com to discuss options.
Is the Bodhih program HRD Corp claimable?
No claim of HRD Corp claimability is made for this program, so do not assume levy funding applies. Bodhih's credential is a professional skills certification. In Malaysia, HRD Corp claimable training generally has to be delivered by HRD Corp Accredited Trainers, a separate pathway that runs through HRD Corp's own Train-the-Trainer certification or an approved exemption.
Does this replace the HRD Corp TTT certification?
No. The Bodhih Certified Trainer credential is not equivalent to, and does not replace, HRD Corp's TTT certification. If you plan to deliver HRD Corp claimable courses, check HRD Corp's current trainer requirements directly. If your aim is to train employees inside your own organisation more effectively, Bodhih's practice-heavy program is designed for that.
What does Train the Trainer cost in Malaysia?
Fees for Malaysian participants are shared on request in MYR or USD, because they depend on format, location and group size. For in-house programs the quote covers the whole batch of up to 15 participants. Email solutions@bodhih.com with your city, preferred dates and number of trainers.
What time are online sessions in Malaysia?
Malaysia (UTC+8) is 2.5 hours ahead of India Standard Time. A 9:00 AM–6:00 PM IST session runs 11:30 AM–8:30 PM in Kuala Lumpur and Penang. For in-house groups, Bodhih can arrange a dedicated online batch timed to Malaysian working hours instead.
Can our shared services centre certify trainers for several languages?
Yes. Many Malaysian GBS centres serve multiple markets, and each participant works on a module they actually deliver. Discuss language and audience needs when you enquire, so the in-house batch can be planned around your service lines, onboarding programs and quality coaching.
