Timing: IST vs Gulf Standard Time for online batches

India Standard Time (IST, UTC+5:30) is 1.5 hours ahead of Gulf Standard Time (GST, UTC+4), used in the UAE and Oman. If an online batch runs on the program's 9:00 AM–6:00 PM India schedule, UAE participants join at 7:30 AM and finish at 4:30 PM. Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain (UTC+3) are 2.5 hours behind IST, so the same day runs 6:30 AM–3:30 PM there. Many Gulf participants find an early start leaves the late afternoon free. Check the exact timing of your batch when you enquire, and see the online TTT page for how live sessions work.

Why organisations in the UAE and GCC invest in trainers

Gulf economies depend on service quality and on developing national talent, and both need skilled internal trainers.

  • Aviation and travel run constant recurrent, service and safety-related training, where consistency across crews and stations matters.
  • Hospitality and retail onboard large, multinational workforces and need service standards taught the same way in every property.
  • Banking and financial services train on products, customer experience and compliance.
  • Real estate and facilities train sales, leasing and operations teams in fast-moving markets.
  • Government entities build internal academies and trainer cadres to develop their people.

National workforce programmes such as Emiratisation in the UAE and Saudization in Saudi Arabia have made structured upskilling a priority. Many organisations respond by certifying internal trainers — often senior nationals and experienced specialists — who can design and deliver development programs themselves. That is exactly what the Train the Trainer model is for; our guide to what Train the Trainer is explains how the cascade works.

Who attends from the region

Gulf participants typically include L&D and HR professionals, internal academy faculty, cabin and ground service trainers, hotel training managers, bank product and compliance trainers, subject matter experts asked to teach colleagues, and independent consultants. Batches are multicultural, and every participant works on their own content.

That diversity is useful practice in itself. Gulf trainers usually face mixed-nationality audiences with different expectations of how a trainer should behave, so learning to read the room, adjust questioning and handle difficult participants is directly relevant. There are no formal prerequisites, so newly appointed national trainers and experienced expatriate facilitators can attend together.

How to get started from the Gulf

  1. Choose a format. Online if you want to stay in the UAE or Saudi Arabia; in-house if you are certifying a team; an open batch in the region or in India if you prefer a mixed classroom.
  2. Request a quote. Email solutions@bodhih.com with your city, preferred format, dates and number of participants. Fees for Dubai and the GCC are shared on request.
  3. Prepare your content. Bring a session you deliver now or need to build — you will redesign it during the program.
  4. Complete the pre-course e-learning. It covers the basics so the four days can focus on practice.
  5. Attend and deliver. Full four-day attendance and a final certification delivery are required for the Bodhih Certified Trainer credential.

After the program, a 40-day micro-learning journey, a 1-on-1 coaching session and two quarterly masterclass passes help you apply the skills back at work.

In-house TTT for GCC organisations

For an airline, hotel group, bank or government entity certifying a team, an in-house batch is usually the best fit: your venue, your dates and practice on your own modules. Bodhih serves clients across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa and Australia & New Zealand. Read more on the corporate Train the Trainer page.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a Train the Trainer course in Dubai?

Yes. Bodhih has delivered the Bodhih Certified Train The Trainer (TTT) Program in Dubai, and open batches in the region are announced periodically. At any time you can join the live online batch or arrange an in-house batch at your organisation in the UAE. Email solutions@bodhih.com or call +91 99000 11601 for current Dubai availability.

What is the Train the Trainer fee in Dubai?

Fees for Dubai, the UAE and the wider GCC are shared on request, because they depend on format, location and group size. Please email solutions@bodhih.com with your preferred format — online, open batch or in-house — and the number of participants, and the team will send a quote.

What time are online sessions in the UAE?

India Standard Time is 1.5 hours ahead of Gulf Standard Time. So a session starting at 9:00 AM IST starts at 7:30 AM in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and a 6:00 PM IST finish is 4:30 PM GST. Saudi Arabia is 2.5 hours behind IST. Confirm the timing of a particular online batch when you enquire.

Do you run Train the Trainer in Saudi Arabia?

Yes. Bodhih has delivered the program in Saudi Arabia, and in-house batches can be arranged in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam or other cities for organisations building national trainer capability. Online batches are also open to participants across the Kingdom. Contact solutions@bodhih.com to discuss dates and group size.

Is the Bodhih Certified Trainer credential recognised outside India?

The credential is issued by Bodhih Training Solutions and can be verified online by anyone through its unique credential ID, wherever the employer is. Bodhih's TTT was ranked among the world's top 7 Train the Trainer programs by Technavio, and Bodhih serves clients across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa and Australia & New Zealand.

Can we run an in-house TTT for our airline, hotel group or bank in the UAE?

Yes. In-house programs run at your chosen venue and dates, and participants redesign your own training modules — service standards, safety procedures, product or compliance training — during the four days. It is the most practical route when you need to certify a team of internal trainers. See the corporate TTT page.
