Lucknow professionals can earn a train the trainer certification from Bodhih by joining the live online batch, travelling to the nearest open classroom batch in Mumbai (18–21 Nov 2026) or Bengaluru (9–12 Dec 2026) at ₹40,000 + GST, or booking an in-house program in Lucknow. The program runs 4 days, 32+ hours, with at most 15 participants.
Who needs trainer skills in Lucknow?
Lucknow is the capital of Uttar Pradesh, India's most populous state, and much of its working life is organised around administration, public-sector institutions, banking, education and healthcare. Training is everywhere in that ecosystem — induction programmes, refresher courses, scheme roll-outs, compliance updates — yet most of it is delivered by officers, managers and doctors who were picked for their subject knowledge, not their teaching skill.
- Government departments and PSUs — state departments, public-sector undertakings and their training institutes run regular capacity-building for staff at district and block level. Faculty are often serving officers on deputation who need to move beyond lecture-and-slides delivery.
- Banking and financial institutions — Lucknow hosts zonal and regional offices of many public and private banks, regional rural banks and the headquarters of SIDBI. Bank staff colleges and training centres rely on in-house faculty to teach credit, recovery, digital banking, customer service and compliance.
- Education — universities, management and engineering colleges, and a large coaching sector employ faculty who teach adults but have rarely studied adult learning. Corporate relations and placement teams also run soft-skills sessions for students.
- Healthcare — Lucknow is a major medical centre for the state, with large government institutes and private hospital chains. Nurse educators and clinical trainers teach procedures, patient safety and quality standards to large and changing teams.
- MSMEs and traditional industries — from chikankari embroidery to food processing and engineering units around the city, small businesses need owners and supervisors who can train new workers quickly and consistently.
If your work involves standing in front of a group and you have never been taught how to design or facilitate a session, a structured program will change how you work. Our guide to what Train the Trainer is explains the basics.

Choosing between Mumbai, Bengaluru, online and in-house
Travelling to Mumbai or Bengaluru. Lucknow has direct flights to both cities, roughly two hours to Mumbai and a little longer to Bengaluru, and long-distance trains also run to each. The November Mumbai batch is the earlier option; the December Bengaluru batch is held in the city where Bodhih is headquartered. The program runs on four consecutive days from 9:00 AM, so most participants arrive the evening before Day 1 and stay through Day 4. A classroom away from your own office makes it easier to focus on practice, and you work alongside trainers from technology, manufacturing, pharma and services companies, which broadens your examples.
Live online. Lucknow is on IST, so the online batch runs on the standard 9:00 AM–6:00 PM schedule with no time adjustment. You avoid travel costs and hotel nights, and you practise the virtual delivery skills that many banks and departments now use for refreshers and roll-outs. You need a quiet room, a stable connection, your camera on and four days free of calls. The online TTT page explains how deliveries and feedback work on screen.
In-house. For a bank training centre, a hospital, a university or a department that wants to certify a group, an in-house batch in Lucknow is usually the most efficient choice. Bodhih travels to you, and participants redesign your own modules.
Who attends from Lucknow?
A typical Lucknow participant is one of the following: a faculty member at a bank staff college or regional training centre; a training officer in a state department, PSU or cooperative institution; an HR or L&D executive at a private company or hospital chain; a nurse educator or quality lead; a college lecturer or placement trainer who runs employability sessions; or an independent consultant building a soft-skills or corporate-training practice in Uttar Pradesh. There are no formal prerequisites, and participants range from new trainers to people with fifteen years at the front of a room. What they share is that few have ever been observed and given structured feedback on their own facilitation. Those planning a freelance practice will find the soft-skills trainer guide useful alongside the program.
Bodhih Certified TTT: key facts
The four days cover adult learning (andragogy, Kolb's cycle and Bloom's Taxonomy), Training Needs Analysis and ADDIE instructional design, facilitation and platform skills, questioning and debriefing, handling difficult participants, virtual training delivery and Kirkpatrick evaluation. You receive 3 trainer toolkits (chosen from Bodhih's library of 100) and peer feedback using Bodhih's Trainer Competency Matrix. The credential is earned through a final assessed certification delivery. Details are on the curriculum page.
What changes for a Lucknow trainer after the program?
Participants from government and bank training settings usually report the same shift: they stop treating a session as a lecture to be completed and start designing it around what learners must be able to do afterwards. In practice that means:
- Writing objectives with measurable action verbs, so a two-day course on a new scheme or loan product has a clear finish line.
- Replacing long slide decks with case work, role-plays and short activities, which keeps senior and sometimes reluctant participants engaged.
- Handling the participant who has "seen it all" or the hierarchy-conscious room where juniors will not speak in front of seniors. The guide to difficult participants covers some of these techniques.
- Collecting evidence beyond the feedback form, using Kirkpatrick's levels, so a training institute can show results to its leadership.
Faculty in colleges and coaching institutes find the adult-learning and activity-design modules equally useful; the TTT for teachers and faculty page explains how the program fits academic roles.
In-house TTT for Lucknow organisations
An in-house batch lets a team redesign the training it actually runs — a branch-manager induction, a credit appraisal module, a nursing orientation, a scheme implementation workshop or a supervisor programme for a manufacturing unit — and finish with certified trainers and ready-to-use material. Dates can be fitted around budget cycles, examination calendars or hospital rosters. Bodhih has served 2,000+ companies since 2008. See the corporate Train the Trainer program for how batches are scoped, and use the training ROI calculator to build the business case. Senior faculty who will prepare other trainers can later progress to the Master Trainer Certification.
Getting employer sponsorship
Many Lucknow participants are sponsored by their bank, institute or company. A short note that links the program to a specific training goal — fewer repeat sessions, faster onboarding, better feedback scores — tends to get approved faster. Our article on getting training approved by your manager gives a ready structure.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a Train the Trainer course in Lucknow?
Bodhih serves Lucknow through the live online batch, open classroom batches in Mumbai (18–21 Nov 2026) and Bengaluru (9–12 Dec 2026), and in-house programs at your own office, bank training centre, hospital or campus. No open batch is announced in Lucknow itself. Call +91 99000 11603 or email solutions@bodhih.com for current options.
What does the TTT cost for participants from Lucknow?
The public classroom fee is ₹40,000 + GST per participant for the Mumbai and Bengaluru batches. Travel and accommodation are your own arrangement. Online fees are listed on the fees and batches page, and in-house pricing for a group in Lucknow is shared on request.
How do I get to the Mumbai or Bengaluru batch from Lucknow?
Lucknow has direct flights to both Mumbai and Bengaluru, and long-distance trains run to each city. Because the program runs four consecutive days from 9:00 AM, most participants arrive the evening before Day 1 and stay until Day 4 ends. The venue is shared when you register.
Is the program useful for bank and PSU training faculty?
Yes. Faculty at bank staff colleges and PSU training centres are usually experienced officers who teach on deputation. The program gives them adult-learning principles, activity design, facilitation techniques and evaluation methods, and an in-house batch lets them redesign their own modules. It does not replace any internal faculty-selection rules your organisation applies.
Can I attend online from Lucknow while working?
The online batch needs four consecutive, uninterrupted days on the 9:00 AM–6:00 PM IST schedule with your camera on. Most participants take leave or arrange cover. Lucknow is on IST, so no time conversion is needed. If an emergency forces you to miss a day, speak to Bodhih about moving to a later batch.
Is the Bodhih credential a government certification?
No. The Bodhih Certified Trainer credential is a professional skills certification issued by Bodhih Training Solutions after a final assessed delivery. It is not a government licence or a university degree. Check any specific requirements of your department, bank or institute with them directly.
