Quick answer

Bodhih's online train the trainer certification is the Bodhih Certified TTT Program delivered live over video: the same 4-day curriculum, 80% practice, batches capped at 15, assessed final delivery and the same verifiable Bodhih Certified Trainer credential. It suits trainers outside the metros or abroad. Contact us for the online batch fee and dates.

How the online Train the Trainer certification works

The online program is live and interactive, not a video course. You join real-time sessions with a Bodhih master trainer and a small group of peers, practise on camera and receive feedback in the moment.

  1. Before the program: complete short pre-course e-learning and choose a topic or module you train, so live time goes into practice.
  2. Live sessions: the four-day curriculum is delivered in real time, with breakout rooms for group work and activity design.
  3. Practice deliveries: you deliver short sessions to the group on camera, including a baseline delivery early on, with peer and expert feedback on Bodhih's Trainer Competency Matrix.
  4. Final certification delivery: you deliver your redesigned module live; it is recorded and assessed.
  5. After the program: a 40-day micro-learning reinforcement journey, a 1-on-1 coaching session and two quarterly masterclass passes.

Same syllabus, same certification

The virtual TTT course covers the full 4-day TTT curriculum, and graduates earn the same credential as classroom participants.

DayThemeKey content
Day 1Foundations of Training ExcellenceKnowles' andragogy, Kolb's Experiential Learning Cycle, Bloom's Taxonomy, recorded baseline delivery
Day 2Instructional Design MasteryADDIE model, Training Needs Analysis, experiential activity design, storytelling for training
Day 3Advanced FacilitationPlatform skills, 7 types of difficult participants, questioning techniques, virtual training excellence
Day 4Assessment & EvaluationKirkpatrick's four levels, recorded final certification delivery, building your trainer brand

On certification you receive a unique credential ID with online verification, a LinkedIn digital badge, a competency report across 12 trainer skill areas, a Bodhih Certified Trainer Directory listing and lifetime alumni access. As with the classroom program, full attendance and the final delivery are required.

A bonus: you build virtual facilitation skills by doing

Learning to train online, online, gives you practice that a classroom cannot. Every delivery you make is itself a virtual session, so you build the habits hybrid and remote teams now need:

Camera presence

Voice, framing, eye contact with the lens and energy that carries through a screen.

Engagement tools

Using chat, polls, annotation and breakout rooms to keep every session participative.

Pacing & attention

Shorter segments, frequent check-ins and activities that fight screen fatigue.

Silent participants

Drawing in cameras-off learners and handling difficult behaviour in a virtual room.

For quick ways to get a virtual group talking in the first five minutes, see the virtual section of our icebreakers for corporate training guide.

Can you really learn to train online?

Yes — provided the program is live and practice-led. What makes a Train the Trainer course work is repeated delivery with honest feedback, and that happens just as well over video when the group is small. With batches capped at 15, every participant delivers several times, sees their own recording and hears specific feedback from a Bodhih master trainer. The frameworks you learn, from Knowles' andragogy and ADDIE to Kirkpatrick's four levels, apply equally to classroom and virtual training.

Technical requirements

You need a reliable setup where you can be seen and heard clearly. Joining details and platform instructions are shared on registration.

  • Laptop or desktop (a phone or tablet is not enough for practice deliveries)
  • Working webcam and microphone; a headset with a mic is recommended
  • Stable broadband connection, with a mobile hotspot as backup
  • A quiet, well-lit space for all four days, where you can deliver without interruption
  • Optional: a second screen to see participants while presenting

Who the online TTT program suits

The online train the trainer course suits anyone who wants the full certification without travel — especially:

  • Trainers outside the metros in India, where open classroom batches are not scheduled nearby.
  • Professionals in other time zones — the Gulf (GCC), Southeast Asia, Africa and Australia & New Zealand, all regions Bodhih serves. Tell us your time zone when you enquire.
  • Distributed L&D teams whose trainers sit in different cities or countries.
  • Trainers who mostly deliver online and want to practise in the medium they actually use.

Online vs classroom Train the Trainer: which should you choose?

Both lead to the same credential; the right choice depends on where you are and how you deliver.

Frequently asked questions

Is the online Train the Trainer certification the same as the classroom one?

Yes. The live virtual program follows the same 4-day curriculum — adult learning, ADDIE instructional design, facilitation, difficult participants, virtual training and Kirkpatrick evaluation — with the same practice deliveries, feedback on the Trainer Competency Matrix, assessed final delivery and Bodhih Certified Trainer credential.

Is the virtual TTT course live or self-paced?

It is live. You attend real-time sessions with a Bodhih master trainer and a small group of peers, deliver practice sessions on camera and receive immediate feedback. Short pre-course e-learning and the 40-day post-program reinforcement journey are the only self-paced parts.

What is the fee for the online Train the Trainer course?

The online batch fee and dates are shared on request, so please contact us on +91 99000 11601 or solutions@bodhih.com. For reference, the public classroom program is ₹40,000 + GST; corporate and group pricing, including virtual in-house programs for teams, is also available on request.

What do I need to join the online TTT program?

A laptop or desktop with a working webcam and microphone, a stable broadband connection, a headset, and a quiet, well-lit space where you can stand or sit to deliver. A second screen is helpful but not essential. Joining details are shared on registration.

Can I join the online train the trainer course from outside India?

Yes. Bodhih serves participants across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa and Australia & New Zealand. When you contact us, mention your country and time zone so the team can advise which online batch and session timings suit you best before you enroll.
