Nagpur professionals can earn a train the trainer certification from Bodhih through the nearest open classroom batch in Mumbai (18–21 Nov 2026, ₹40,000 + GST), the Bengaluru batch (9–12 Dec 2026), the live online batch or an in-house program. The TTT course runs 4 days, 32+ hours, 80% practice, with a maximum of 15 participants. No Nagpur batch is scheduled yet.
Why do Nagpur organisations need trained trainers?
Nagpur sits close to the geographic centre of India and serves as Maharashtra's second capital, hosting the winter session of the state legislature. Unlike Mumbai or Pune, no single industry dominates the city. Training happens in airport-side technology campuses, coal and manganese offices, power stations, warehouses, colleges and hospitals, and in most of them it is delivered by someone whose main job is something else.
- MIHAN and the SEZ. The Multi-modal International Cargo Hub and Airport at Nagpur hosts IT and ITeS campuses, aviation maintenance and manufacturing units. These employers recruit many first-job graduates from across Vidarbha, so induction, process and client-readiness training runs almost continuously.
- Mining and power. Nagpur is the headquarters of Western Coalfields and of MOIL, the manganese producer, and thermal power stations operate at Koradi and Khaperkheda nearby. Engineers and shift supervisors deliver safety, equipment and procedure training to large workforces, often in mixed Hindi, Marathi and English groups.
- Logistics and warehousing. Being at the centre of the national road and rail network has made Nagpur a natural hub for distribution centres. Supervisors train pickers, drivers and dispatch teams on systems, standard operating procedures and safety, usually across three shifts.
- Education. VNIT, IIM Nagpur, AIIMS Nagpur and a large base of engineering, management and coaching institutions make the city a teaching centre. Faculty are increasingly asked to run short executive and skills programmes for working adults, which needs a different approach from semester teaching.
- Healthcare. Nagpur is a referral centre for central India, drawing patients from Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Telangana. Hospitals rely on nurse educators and quality teams to train staff on clinical protocols, patient communication and accreditation standards.
In almost every case the trainer is a subject expert first. They know the equipment, the code or the protocol, but nobody showed them how to design a session, keep 25 people engaged after lunch or check that learning actually transferred to the job. That gap is what a train the trainer certification closes. Our guide for subject experts moving into training describes the shift in more detail.

Mumbai classroom, online or in-house: which suits you?
The Mumbai batch (18–21 Nov 2026). Mumbai is about a 90-minute flight from Nagpur's Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, and overnight trains connect the two cities. The program runs 9:00 AM–6:00 PM on four consecutive days, so most Nagpur participants arrive the evening before Day 1 and stay for the week. Choose this if you learn best face to face and want four days away from your desk. The Mumbai page has practical notes on the batch.
Live online. Nagpur runs on IST, so the online day is simply 9:00 AM–6:00 PM with no conversion. If your MIHAN team has colleagues abroad joining the same batch, that day is 7:30 AM–4:30 PM in Dubai and 11:30 AM–8:30 PM in Singapore. Online suits people who mostly train remote or multi-site teams, and those who cannot be away from a plant or hospital for a week. Cameras stay on and you still deliver assessed practice sessions. See the online TTT page.
In-house. If a mine, power station, college or hospital group wants to certify several trainers at once, an in-house batch is usually the most efficient choice. The four days can be scheduled around shift rosters, shutdowns or the academic calendar.
What does the Bodhih Certified TTT include?
The program starts with how adults learn: andragogy, Kolb's experiential cycle and Bloom's Taxonomy for writing objectives you can measure. You then run a Training Needs Analysis and design a session using ADDIE. Most of the four days goes into practice: facilitation and platform skills, questioning and debriefing, handling difficult participants and running virtual sessions, with peer feedback against Bodhih's Trainer Competency Matrix. You close with Kirkpatrick evaluation and a final assessed certification delivery. Your Day 1 and Day 4 deliveries are compared, so you can see your own progress. The full day-by-day outline is on the curriculum page.
Successful participants receive the Bodhih Certified Trainer credential with a unique ID that employers can verify online, plus a competency report across 12 trainer skill areas. Details are on the credential page.
Is the certification accredited by a government body?
No, and we prefer to be clear about it. The Bodhih Certified Trainer credential is a professional skills certification issued by Bodhih Training Solutions. It is not a government accreditation, and it is not affiliated with any Maharashtra or national authority. In India no law requires a corporate trainer to hold a particular licence; employers judge trainers on skill and results.
Two other systems are worth knowing about if you work in Nagpur. Trainers who deliver Skill India vocational qualifications are certified separately through the relevant sector skill council's Training of Trainers process, which qualifies you to teach one specific qualification. In mining, statutory safety training follows the rules set by the Directorate General of Mines Safety, and a TTT does not replace those requirements. What the TTT does is make the person delivering that content far more effective. Our page on Training of Trainers (TOT) explains how the terms differ.
Who attends from Nagpur?
- Team leads and process trainers at MIHAN IT and ITeS centres who handle new-hire batches.
- Safety officers, engineers and supervisors in mining, power and heavy industry.
- Warehouse and logistics managers standardising training across shifts and sites.
- Faculty from engineering, management and medical colleges who run workshops for professionals. See TTT for teachers and faculty.
- HR and L&D staff who own the training calendar, and freelancers planning a corporate training career.
In-house TTT for Nagpur employers
An in-house batch is built around the training your team actually delivers: a shift-handover briefing, a conveyor safety module, a nursing induction or a client-process course. Each participant redesigns one real session during the four days, so you finish with certified trainers and improved material. Bodhih has served 2,000+ companies across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa. Read more about the corporate Train the Trainer program.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a train the trainer certification batch in Nagpur?
Not at the moment. Nagpur professionals can join the nearest open classroom batch in Mumbai on 18–21 November 2026, the Bengaluru batch on 9–12 December 2026, the live online batch, or an in-house program at their own site. Call +91 99000 11603 or email solutions@bodhih.com to check the latest calendar.
How much does the TTT course cost for Nagpur participants?
The public classroom fee is ₹40,000 + GST per participant. It covers the four days, the workbook, 3 trainer toolkits (chosen from Bodhih's library of 100), lunch and refreshments. Travel and accommodation for Mumbai are separate. Online and in-house fees are on request; see the fees page.
Can our mine or power plant run the program for safety trainers?
Yes. An in-house batch can be built around your safety and equipment modules, and scheduled around shifts or a planned shutdown. The TTT improves how trainers design and deliver those sessions. It does not replace statutory training requirements set by the Directorate General of Mines Safety or other regulators, which remain your responsibility.
Is the corporate trainer course useful for college faculty in Nagpur?
It is, particularly for faculty who run workshops, executive programmes or industry training for working adults. The program focuses on adult learning, activity-based design and facilitation rather than lecturing. Many faculty use the four days to rebuild one existing workshop. The Bodhih credential is a professional certification, not an academic qualification recognised by a university.
Can I attend online from Nagpur while working full time?
You will need four consecutive days on the 9:00 AM–6:00 PM IST schedule with your camera on, so most participants take leave or arrange cover. Practice deliveries happen live in the session, and they are assessed. If an emergency makes you miss a day, missed days transfer free to a future batch.
What comes after the TTT?
After certification you get a 40-day micro-learning journey and a 1-on-1 coaching session. Experienced trainers who want to develop other trainers or lead an internal academy can later take the Master Trainer Certification, Bodhih's advanced program, also capped at 15 participants.
