Quick answer

Professionals in Muscat and across Oman can earn a Train the Trainer (TTT), or Training of Trainers (TOT), certification with Bodhih through an in-house batch at your premises, the live online batch (7:30 AM–4:30 PM Oman time), or the nearest open batch in Dubai or India. The program is 4 days, 32+ hours, capped at 15 participants. Fees in OMR are on request.

Why Omani organisations invest in trainers

Oman's economy is built on energy but is steadily diversifying into logistics, tourism, manufacturing, mining and fisheries under Oman Vision 2040. Employers across these sectors share two needs: bringing staff to a consistent standard of safety and service, and developing Omani nationals into skilled and leadership roles. Both depend on capable internal trainers.

  • Oil, gas and energy — upstream operations in the interior and LNG, refining and petrochemicals on the coast run continuous technical, HSE and competency training.
  • Ports, logistics and industry — the ports and free zones of Sohar, Duqm and Salalah, along with their industrial estates, train operators, drivers and supervisors.
  • Tourism and hospitality — Muscat, the mountains, the coast and Dhofar's monsoon season draw visitors, and hotels train service teams that often include many new Omani staff.
  • Banking and financial services train branch and contact-centre staff on products, customer experience and compliance.
  • Government and public services run training institutes and professional development programs for civil servants.
  • Healthcare, education and telecom need clinical educators, faculty and technical trainers who can teach adults well.

Omanisation and national upskilling

Omanisation — the policy of increasing the employment of Omani nationals in the private sector, with requirements that vary by sector and role — has made structured knowledge transfer central to workforce planning. Organisations often certify Omani supervisors and specialists as trainers and ask experienced expatriate experts to train their successors. Bodhih does not claim any Omani accreditation or approval; employers using a national training-support scheme should check scheme eligibility with the relevant body. Our page on Training of Trainers (TOT) explains how the cascade works.

Time-zone math for live online batches

Oman uses Gulf Standard Time (UTC+4) year-round, the same as the UAE, so it is 1.5 hours behind India Standard Time (UTC+5:30). An online batch on the 9:00 AM–6:00 PM IST schedule runs 7:30 AM–4:30 PM in Muscat, which fits comfortably inside a normal working day. Oman's working week runs Sunday to Thursday, so check which days a four-day online batch covers; in-house batches can be scheduled entirely within your week. See the online TTT page for how live sessions and practice deliveries work.

Who attends from Oman

Typical participants include L&D and HR professionals, training-institute faculty, HSE and technical trainers, hotel training managers, bank product trainers, clinical educators, and specialists newly asked to teach colleagues. Batches mix Omani and expatriate professionals, which mirrors the audiences most Omani trainers face. There are no formal prerequisites.

In-house TOT for Omani organisations

For an energy operator, port, hotel group, bank or government institute building a trainer cadre, an in-house batch is usually the best fit. It runs at your venue on your working days, and participants redesign your own modules — HSE inductions, service standards, product or compliance training — so you finish with certified trainers and material ready to cascade. Bodhih has served 2,000+ companies across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa and Australia & New Zealand. See the corporate Train the Trainer program, and for leaders of a training function, Bodhih's certified training manager program.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a Train the Trainer (TOT) course in Muscat?

Bodhih serves Muscat and the rest of Oman through in-house programs at your premises and the live online batch. The nearest open classroom batches are in Dubai, announced periodically, and in India. No Oman open batch is on the calendar. Email solutions@bodhih.com or call +91 99000 11601 to discuss options.

What is the TOT fee in Oman?

Fees for Oman are shared on request in OMR, because they depend on format, location and group size. Email solutions@bodhih.com with your preferred format — in-house, online or an open batch — and the number of participants, and the team will send a quote.

What time do online sessions run in Oman?

Online batches follow the India schedule of 9:00 AM–6:00 PM IST. Oman is on Gulf Standard Time (UTC+4), 1.5 hours behind India, so sessions run from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM in Muscat. Oman's weekend is Friday and Saturday, so check the batch days when you enquire.

Is the program approved by an Omani authority?

Bodhih does not claim accreditation or approval from any Omani authority. The Bodhih Certified Trainer credential is issued by Bodhih Training Solutions and can be verified online through its unique ID. If you need a locally approved course, check that requirement with the relevant body before booking.

Can the TOT support our Omanisation plans?

It can. Many organisations certify Omani specialists and supervisors as internal trainers, so that knowledge held by experienced staff is transferred in a structured way. In an in-house batch, participants redesign your own induction, HSE or service modules and leave ready to deliver them.

Can Bodhih deliver in-house in Sohar, Duqm or Salalah?

In-house programs are planned around your chosen location and dates, so batches outside Muscat can be discussed. Share the location, group size and preferred dates with solutions@bodhih.com, and the team will advise on delivery. The online batch is also open to participants anywhere in Oman.
